Some Kind Words... What do people say about the nursery?

On drop offs and pick ups, all staff are engaged with children which is a real positive! I think this is why (Child’s Name) has come on so much over the year because of the wonderful opportunities for interactions that you provide. Keep doing what you’re doing, we think it’s a fabulous nursery to attend.

The curriculum seems well designed to support and encourage independence, as do the daily routines and expectations. The opportunities for parents to 'join in' with nursery life are plentiful and varied, as are the additional events outside of nursery e.g. Nativity. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly, they look professional and seeing how they interact with the children is always lovely. (Child’s Name) feels very cared for and it's clear that his teachers (Mr Hamilton and Mrs Marr) know him well and can support him when needed. As a parent, I find that incredibly reassuring. (Child’s Name's) overall experience of his time at Manor Road has been overwhelmingly positive, as have ours. His confidence and independence has grown immeasurably during his time there and we have recommended the nursery to other parents looking for settings for their children. We will also be sending our youngest when he turns three. Thank you for the time and effort put into supporting (Child’s Name) during his final year before starting school.

Always such a warm welcome with every teacher/ office staff we meet in the morning knowing all the children’s names and saying hello. The nursery feels such a safe place for the children to be and I know (Child’s Name) comes home and speaks highly of all the teachers and we even get told the jokes Mrs Pulling tells. The nursery always communicates with me and has been amazing with (Child’s Name) allergies and catering for this so thank you all

Support for families as well as the children, especially when my child started nursery and struggled with being left, the office staff in particular would check on him for me and send me updates and lovely supportive emails.

The nursery has provided my son with a really good grounding for starting school in terms of the structure of the day and how things are set up for group time as well as independent play. The nursery consistently provides a variety or different activities which are interesting and fun. The facilities provided inside and outside is great for the children.

It's such a lovely Nursery, I wish she had been with you all for longer than a year! You provide wonderful learning activities and experiences that she talks confidently about at home. I feel (Child's Name) has grown in confidence since attending and this is great to see.

(Child’s Name) has thrived at nursery, he has made lots of friends and really enjoys coming. Mrs Pulling has massively helped how (Child’s Name) confidence and he has come on leaps and bounds, I’m forever grateful.

Parent comment following our first Creative Contexts Exhibition - March 2023

I just wanted to send a quick email to say how wonderful last night’s event was. The time and effort that had clearly gone into it from all staff was admirable. (Child's name) was so proud taking us round and showing us everything he had done. Thank you for all you do to help shape and give our little ones memories and experience they will remember forever.
